Considerations for Rotor Material Selection

Selecting the appropriate material for screw pump rotors involves considering several factors:


  • Feeding and separation

    The suspension enters the high-speed rotating drum cavity through the feed pipe. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid phase is discharged through the filter pores, and the solid phase is intercepted to form a filter residue layer [1][3].

  • Solid phase propulsion

    There is a speed difference between the spiral blade and the drum (usually the speed difference ratio is 2-25r/min). The centrifugal force and spiral thrust are used to continuously push the solid phase from the small end of the drum to the large end, while turning the filter residue to enhance the dehydration effect.

  • Unloading and continuous operation

    The dehydrated solid phase is discharged from the large end slag discharge port. The whole process does not require shutdown, and continuous feeding, dehydration, washing and unloading are achieved.

  • Material and structure

     The drum, spiral and other key components are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel or titanium alloy, and the filter thickness is up to 0.5mm (some models can be made of Hastelloy C276), which significantly extends the service life.

  • Intelligent control

     Equipped with variable frequency speed regulator and PLC control system, it realizes stepless speed regulation and differential adaptive compensation, and supports fully automatic operation.

  • Safety protection

     Integrated speed detection, over-vibration protection, motor overload protection and spiral zero differential protection to ensure safe operation.
